8 months after Boys Before Flowers, Lee Min Ho is still very much involved in promotion activities. Yesterday, he was at Taiwan for his personal fan-meeting. Earlier that day, he attended a press conference at Westin Hotel where he made several ‘confessions’.

1. ‘I want to take part in IRIS 2’

Our flower-boy is currently choosing his next project, which is likely to be released in the first half of 2010. He expresses his wish for a manly and melodramatic role and is currently looking at 2-3 good scripts. Due to his previous success in BOF, he feels the pressure to deliver an even better performance in his next project. In addition, he confesses his wish to be part of IRIS 2 and would like to learn from sunbae Lee Byeong Heon.

2. His Christmas wish? – ‘A girlfriend!’

‘I don’t want a lonely Christmas. I want be able to have a good time while working hard at the same time. It will be good if I can find a girlfriend. It doesn’t matter if she’s 12 years apart from me. It will be even better if she’s older than me but still have a young face.’

Lee Min Ho expresses that hallyu star Song Hye Gyo is his ideal type and he has been a fan of hers since he was a kid.

3. ‘I want to receive the ‘Best New Actor’ award’

It’s the end of another year and time for the awards ceremony! Lee Min Ho expresses his ‘greed’ to win the coveted award. One can only have a single chance to win this award.

2009 has been the best year for me. The 23rd year of my life was filled with happiness and warmth. Looking back, I still can’t believe my good luck.

1 year after Tazza, Han Ye Seul is finally back with a new drama, Will it snow on Christmas? (크리스마스에 눈이 올까요?) The photos are from her first filming set, an engagement ceremony. I’m really looking forward to this drama, since it stars 2 of my fav actresses: Han Ye Seul and Sun Sun Woo (Queen of Housewives).

The only drawback is that it is labeled as a melodrama!! >< I’m no fan of melodramas.

I want I want I want!!! ^^ I always love looking at calendars and stylish diaries. There is no better way to start a new year with a pretty diary book! ^^

The Hong Sisters are amazing when it comes to creating famous lines for their dramas. Remember Fantasy Couple’s 꼬라지 하고는? These famous lines are peppered throughout the drama, by the time you finish watching it, you would have learn some nice Korean phrases too.

Below are a collection of 미남이시네요’s famous lines (up till ep 12).

Shin Woo:

"거의 다왔는데.. 한발자국만 더오지 . . ." (almost there.. just one more step and you'll reach)

[note: this was voted as the most memorable line by Korean viewers ^^hmm but i like Tae Kyung’s line better!!]

"더큰 위로도 줄 수 있어. 니가 솔직하게 나에게 손내밀고 도와달라고 한다면. " (I can give you more comfort. If you ask for my help honestly)

These are the ones that made the most impression on me. ^^ While searching for more pictures and famous lines just now, I found a site that jots down most of the dialogue in the famous scenes. This can serve as good Korean learning materials!! XD (it’s entirely in Korean)

We all look forward to our holidays after a major exam but it seems like our idols are back to work. Straight after their college entrance exam yesterday, 4Mintue’s Jeon Jiyoon and Heo Gayoon, together with BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung, Jang Hyun Seung and Son Dong Woon performed in Mnet’s M Super Concert. This was a special concert dedicated to all the other students taking college exams.

So where did BEAST’s Lee Ki Gwang go? ^^

After the exams, he went for a special recording programme for MBC which took place all night. In order to fill in for fellow members Onew and Jong Hyun (who were down with swine flu), SHINee’s Minho had a busy day too. After dinner with his managers and friends, he went straight for a performance in Incheon.

It seems like not too long ago when I was writing the post on TOPIK and now I’m doing one for KLPT! This is the 2nd time I’m taking KLPT and you can see my previous post of KLPT 2008 HERE. ^^

Just like last year, we were asked to be at the venue by 9am even though the test starts at 10. (and just like last year, the lift was ‘locked’ and we had to stand at the lobby until nearly 9am). There were only 20+ of us for the KLPT exam and only 2 guys! haha

I was seated at the 1st row of the 2nd column (I like!) and the radio was right in front of me. oh! I was scrolling through my KLPT 2008 post and I realised that I was seated in the same position for last year too! ^^ It was rather boring during the waiting time as I came alone.

Listening section

Unlike TOPIK whereby the passages are read twice, it’s only read ONCE for KLPT. I guess that makes it more challenging and put it more on par with TOPIK which has a writing component. The passages progressively get longer and harder, by the time it reaches the ‘advanced’ level, I was totally lost. I had a hard time trying to grasp at random words and trying to make them to those in the answer booklet to find the answer XD

This shows that I’m nowhere near that standard yet. ): But I’m glad to say that I improved alot over the past year ^^

The time lag between questions was adequate for me to read through the 4 options and shade the answer, but once it’s the advanced level…… you know..

Reading section

There was no rest period between the 2 sections. For the reading passages, I’m soo happy that I’ve improved SO MUCH compared to last year. I still remember how I totally have no time for the longer passages and resort to PURE GUESSING towards the end XD This time, I was much better and I read everything~~ I don’t understand everything but at least I get the gist of it for most! (the advanced passages were really challenging)

BUT. The grammar section was a goner. hahaha I’ve not touched any books since uni started and I’m simply relying on past knowledge to complete the section. Last year, I worked hard for the proverbs but I’ve not revise them for months!! omg. I’m so dead.

I feel underprepared. really. But it makes me a little sad. I could have progress much further if I have more time to study.

Results should be out in 2 weeks time! ^^ Hopefully there will be an improvement from last year :D

oh, looking back at the archive, I realised that I was a much better writer last time. haha my English seems to be deteriorating.

I’m sorry that it’s late at night~^^ I’m going to sleep too. It seems like I’ve uploaded too many pictures of Gaho so I’ll do you a small service (fanservice).. Seungri was doing monitoring for a variety programme called ‘Strong Heart’.  He’s better than me. Variety programmes are difficult. It’s embarrassing. We’ll work hard for our music! Good night ^^

Lee Ssang’s 6th album, HEXAGONAL, will be released on the 6th Oct.

The title song ‘Men who can’t break up, women who can’t leave’ will be a song that strikes chord with people who are in love or has been in love. The music video is directed by movie director Ryu Seung Wan and features his younger brother Ryu Seung Beom & Lee Hyori as the couple. This is not the first time the brothers have collaborated with Lee Ssang. Previous works include hit song ‘Ballerina’.

According to Lee Ssang’s agency, ‘we’ll see a different side of Lee Hyori in the MV and it will be more of a short film rather than the usual MV style…’

The MV teaser was released on Lee Ssang’s official page yesterday. Enjoy ^^
